Burning Lift

Burning Lift is a skincare device designed for facial treatment at home and in professional settings. Four treatment technologies are combined within one compact body to support wrinkle management. The main body is slim, and the handpiece shape was studied in depth to improve grip. A coloured touch screen provides a simple interface, and LED lighting on the body and the handpiece shows the operating status. High gloss white and textured black surfaces create a professional appearance. The form was inspired by spacecraft in science fiction films.

Magnesium Alloy

Magnesium is a controllable hydro-reactive magnesium alloy developed for medical use. The alloy is composed of magnesium, zinc and calcium, elements that the human body can absorb. Adjusting the mixing entropy of the alloy allows the degradation rate to be controlled precisely, while corrosion resistance and mechanical properties are improved. The material degrades slowly and evenly until it is absorbed and carried away by body fluids. The alloy is used in a single-use hemostatic clip that needs no second surgery for removal. No additional surface treatment is required.

Convenient

Convenient is a portable urine bag designed for patients who need to wear a urine bag when going out. The disposable container holds 1000 ml and consists of three interconnected unit bags, worn with a reusable leg wrap. A water-absorbing polymer solidifies the urine quickly, which reduces odor and keeps the contents stable during movement. Each full unit bag is closed with a button valve, then detached and discarded, so the bag stays light and easy to conceal. The intent is to reduce both physical discomfort and embarrassment for the user.

Projection

Warmth of Projection is an electronic thermometer designed to reduce anxiety during temperature measurement. The device uses the principle of convex lens imaging to magnify the temperature shown by an LED and project the number onto the arm of the person being measured. The projection shifts attention from the display to the arm, so the current temperature is seen quickly and calmly. The rounded form gives a gentle appearance. The shell is made by plastic injection molding with common parts to keep costs low. The thermometer weighs 62.4 grams.

SureMAX

SureMAX is a titanium cervical spinal implant used in anterior cervical discectomy and fusion surgery. The stiffness of SureMAX is matched to the stiffness of the patient bone, so the vertebra is not damaged and the implant does not settle. Bone grows well into titanium, yet earlier titanium cages were too stiff. SureMAX is produced by three-dimensional printing from titanium powder, which allows geometries that cannot be machined. The surface is porous and roughened to support bone growth. Side windows allow healing to be seen on X-ray images.
