Ludwig Katrin

Ludwig Katrin is a neck fixer designed to hold and support the cervical spine. Unlike common neck fixing products with long external inflation tubes, Ludwig Katrin uses a built-in gasbag and an interior hidden line structure. The gasbag in the center is pressed to inflate the device, and an exhaust button on the left releases the air, which makes the product wireless and portable. Six gears allow step-by-step height adjustment, and a sound signal marks each gear. A supporting plate behind the neck guides the up-and-down movement, and the fabric cover is removable and washable.

Nanosensors Inside Plants

Argus

Argus is a water quality monitoring system based on a living plant. Nanosensors are injected into the leaves, where they remain within the intercellular space. The sensors produce a visible glow of a specific light wavelength. When lead from the surrounding water reaches the leaves, the glow is reduced, indicating that the water contains impurities. The plant samples water continuously and needs no electricity. A result appears within fifteen minutes to two hours, which is faster than laboratory testing.

FlowIO

FlowIO is a pneumatics development platform for the control, actuation and sensing of soft robots and programmable materials. The main module integrates valves, sensors, a microcontroller, a battery and a charger. Pump modules connect magnetically and can be swapped during use, with small, medium and large options for different pressures and flow rates. The modules are enclosed in 3D printed snap-fit housings. A software toolkit adds mobile and desktop graphical interfaces, Bluetooth control and programming interfaces. FlowIO suits both desktop and wearable projects.

Kidney Assist Transporter

Kidney Assist Transporter is a medical device for the preservation and transport of donor organs. The system provides oxygenated machine perfusion during preconditioning, preservation and reconditioning. Continuous perfusion flow with 100 percent oxygen supports organ quality. Double ice units with improved insulation give stronger and longer cooling. An LED supported interface makes operation logical and intuitive. All functional parts, including the oxygen gas container, are integrated into one compact and sturdy unit that is safe during transport.

Metamaterial Prosthetic Liner

Meta Mecha

Meta Mecha is a prosthetic socket liner made from mechanical metamaterials. The liner is generated from a 3D scan of the residual limb and from pressure data collected during walking, so the mechanical surface follows personalized medical requirements. Meta Mecha is 3D printed in elastic TPU on industrial printers. A pressure sensitive material changes color when pressure exceeds the tolerance limit, showing the user that the liner needs replacement. Replacement is simple and economical, and it supports the gradual deformation of the residual limb.

Guardian 7000

Guardian 7000 is a laboratory hotplate stirrer used to heat and mix samples. The enclosure is produced by injection molding of chemically resistant resins that stay cool at a maximum plate temperature of 500 degrees Celsius. Integrated safety functions use Bluetooth and infrared technology to switch off the heater when the operator is not detected, and to monitor the electronics against overheating. Two knobs control plate temperature and stirring speed, and a long press opens the menu and the timer. Three sizes are offered.
